Label and Technologies :

Windproof fabric with DWR treatment that blocks water and snow on the front, back and arms. Made with Polartec® Alpha® Direct 90g insulating fabric on the front, back and front arms. The rest of the jacket is made of highly abrasion resistant Polartec® Hard Shell.

Depending on their structure, these lightweight and extremely durable fabrics provide sufficient thermal insulation, excellent wind resistance, water repellency and quick drying without sacrificing breathability and freedom of movement.

Polartec® Alpha® is the latest evolution in synthetic insulation, offering a rare combination of lightness, warmth and true breathability in a “down jacket” style garment. Alpha® creates insulating volume and does not require the use of down-filled fabrics, allowing a sandwich construction with mesh and breathable fabrics for performance, which is not usually possible with other traditional insulations.
