Waterproof: The GORE-TEX® membrane has nearly 1.4 billion pores per square centimetre, each pore being 20,000 times smaller than a water droplet. These holes are too small for water and air to enter from the outside. On the other hand, they are large enough to let water vapour through, allowing your body’s perspiration to escape. This means you won’t feel wet or uncomfortable.

Water Resistant: Durable Water Repellent Finish (DWR) repels light rain and snow and reduces the drying time of the fabric. In addition to the waterproof/breathable membrane, the durable water repellent finish (DWR) prevents the fabric from becoming saturated with moisture, so that the breathable membrane can function properly.
